WRH’s roots date back to 1962 when founder, William R. Hough, created the Florida-based William R. Hough & Company, an investment banker and development firm that became nationally recognized as a leader in underwriting and market maker for municipal bonds. In 1991, WRH Mortgage, Inc. was formed by the shareholders of William R. Hough & Company.
WRH Properties, Inc. was founded in 1993 and acquired commercial real estate for long-term investment. Since its inception, WRH Properties, Inc., has repositioned, managed, renovated, and disposed of a wide range of property types including; apartments, independent living, assisted living facilities, retail, warehouse, office, restaurant, mixed-use, and raw land. WRH Realty Services was formed in 1998 because of a desire to have a full-service property management company with greater focus, attention to detail, care, and concern for the owner’s financial objectives. In June 1998, WRH Realty Services started business management, renovating, and repositioning multifamily properties in the Texas, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
