Jacksonville, FL– WRH Realty Services, Inc., a leading property management company serving key markets throughout the Southeastern US and Texas, has successfully completed its fourth annual “Operation Overseas” drive, which is one of four annual companywide community service projects WRH holds.
Since the conception of WRH’s community service program, WRH has reached out to over 50,000 individuals largely through the 13,000 plus apartment units in eight different markets. With each year we continue to build on the previous year’s success, and our goal is to reach as many people as possible through our community service projects. Lisa Rusak, Community Service Coordinator for WRH Realty Services, said, “We have seen letters, notes, cards, banners, and drawings come from all over the US. It’s a really good feeling to know that the word is getting out and we [WRH] are making a difference. Team members, residents and community members are spreading the word and encouraging everyone they know to join us. We have received letters from school children as far north as Michigan, that is heartwarming.”
Annually, WRH’s community service projects benefit local charities in each of our markets with apartment communities. Operation Overseas is a drive for overseas military that promotes goodwill within the community. WRH Realty Services apartment communities throughout Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas and South Carolina have collected over 10,000 letters, cards, drawing, mementos and well wishes for our troops overseas fighting to defend our freedoms since the program began in 2008. This year Operation Overseas received over 1,500 tokens of appreciation that WRH Realty Services have mailed to troops overseas in support of all of the brave men and women in the armed services and the sacrifices they have made for our freedoms.
Cards, letters, banners, drawings and well wishes were collected at each of WRH Realty Services apartment communities throughout the southeast and Texas. These mementos have been mailed overseas and will be received in time for Troop Appreciation Month in July.
