Jacksonville, FL– WRH Realty Services, Inc., a leading property management company serving key markets throughout the Southeastern U.S. and Texas, has been recognized as a leader within the multifamily industry in Northeast Florida.
Property management companies, owners, and vendors throughout Northeast Florida all came together to celebrate the First Coast Apartment Association’s (FCAA) annual “Circle of Excellence” Awards. The awards were given to honor individuals, apartment communities, and vendors, which through their actions in 2010, have proven themselves to be leaders within the multifamily industry. The award ceremony recognized affordable, conventional and luxury apartment communities, multifamily professionals, Associate of the Year, and Property Management Company of the Year winners.
WRH Realty Services was honored with the Volunteer Spirit Award of the Year along with this influential award; WRH was recognized as FCAA’s Property Management Company of the Year for 2010. These awards are presented to the property management company that serves not only as a leader within the multifamily industry, but a leader within the community as well. WRH has an annual community service program with a focus on four projects that consist of a drive to send letters of support and encouragement to our overseas military personnel, a school supplies drive to kick off the school year, a canned food drive during the Thanksgiving holiday, and a toy drive to complete the year.
In 2010, WRH Realty Services president and CEO Mark Rutledge, who is very passionate and involved in WRH’s community service efforts, urged team members, associates, area businesses and friends to join him on a grass roots effort to gain funding from Pepsi for Hannah’s Hope, a charity dedicated to raising funds for a treatment for a fatal disorder called Giant Axonal Neuropathy. Out of over 1,000 causes, Hannah’s Hope finished in second place and received $250,000 in funding for research from Pepsi. WRH’s efforts were successful because of the use of emails, social media and team members working together as a company to make a difference.
Over the past four years, WRH Realty Services has sent over 10,000 drawings, letters, cards and mementos to overseas military personnel. Within the past three years, WRH has supplied to over 8,000 kids the essential school supplies for a bright future, donated over 75,000 canned goods, and over 4,000 toys to local charities that have been positively impacted by our efforts.
